Lewis and Clark County Community Foundation. BSI provides development and back office services for LCCF, which supports quality charitable projects benefiting Lewis and Clark County and its residents.
Montana Community Foundation. MCF cultivates philanthropy to build Montana's future by offering donor services, endowment building opportunities and philanthropic advocacy. Through the power of permanently endowed funds, MCF helps donors achieve their philanthropic goals, enables nonprofit organizations to establish stable income sources and helps communities create local community foundations.
Montana Nonprofit Association.* MNA was BSI’s first incubation project. A 500 member organization, MNA promotes a stronger nonprofit sector, a supportive public climate, and the ability of nonprofits to accomplish their missions. For a full case study of BSI's role in incubating MNA click here.
Park County Community Foundation. BSI organized and incubated PCCF, which recently hired a full-time, professional executive director, the first LCF in Montana to do so. PCCF enhances the spirit of community and quality of life in Park County by stewarding endowed funds, grantmaking and other activities, and connecting caring people and resources with community needs and opportunities.
Governor’s Task Force on Endowments and Philanthropy. The Task Force, on which BSI serves, provides new strategies to secure permanent charitable resources for communities and organizations, while expanding philanthropy for all Montanans. It was pivotal in the creation and re-enactment of the Montana Charitable Endowment Tax Credit.
Hopa Mountain, Inc. Hopa Mountain offers Strengthening the Circle, a Native nonprofit leadership program that builds the capacities of experienced and emerging nonprofit organizations serving American Indian youth. BSI and Hopa Mountain staff both are on the Montana Indian Philanthropy and Nonprofit Initiative’s core committee.
Legacy Montana. Legacy Montana works with nonprofit and other philanthropic groups to promote interest in charitable giving through a will or from an estate.
