Carsey Institute.  TCI at the University of New Hampshire conducts research and analysis into the challenges facing families and communities in New Hampshire, New England, and the nation. It sponsors independent, interdisciplinary research that documents trends and conditions in rural America, providing valuable information and analysis to polilcymakers, practitioners, the media and the general public.

Catalogue for Philanthropy.  CFP was initiated successfully in Massachusetts as a way to educate high net worth donors about philanthropy and to showcase a sample of small, excellent nonprofits. BSI anticipates adapting it to Montana.

Philanthropy Northwest.  An association of community, private and public foundations, corporations and individuals in a five-state region, which promotes effectiveness in the practice of philanthropy, offers technical assistance, information, consulting and networking to grantmaking institutions and philanthropists.

Potlatch Fund.  A grantmaking foundation and leadership development organization serving Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Western Montana, it works to inspire the Native tradition of giving in Northwest Indian Country to promote economic development, natural resource protection, education, cultural preservation, civic participation, and the overall health of Native people and their communities.

Southern Rural Development Initiative.  RDI provides practical roles for rural community leaders, organizations, and related national sectors to create just and economically sustainable communities across the rural South.
