What People Say About Us
"BSI helped incubate our organization, build our capacity, and move us to independence. Throughout, they demonstrated a belief in our ability to succeed, a knack for knowing when to initiate ideas with the board, and a willingness to “fill in the blanks” when we most needed it."

Helena Celebrates Community Philanthropy 2017

The 2017 Helena Celebrates Community Philanthropy Reception and Dinner will take place on Tuesday, November 7th from 5:30pm to 8pm at the Radisson Colonial Hotel, 2301 Colonial Drive, Helena.

Helena Celebrates Community Philanthropy activities will start with a reception that provides opportunities for attendees to meet one another and network, followed by a sit down dinner with formal celebration activities. The program features awards to recognize and celebrate philanthropic accomplishments and honor great role models who exemplify the very best qualities of community philanthropists. We will highlight awardees in the individual donor, business/corporate and foundation categories. The event will also elevate the fundraising profession and recognize its vital importance to the well-being of nonprofits. The program will advance the twin notions that everyone can be a philanthropist and that a robust culture of community philanthropy is a foundation for community vitality.

The reception and awards will take place at the Radisson Colonial Hotel as an after-work gathering on Tuesday, November 7. The reception will begin at 5:30pm with a cash bar, non-alcoholic beverages and hors d’oeuvres, and the dinner and program will start at 6:15pm. Dinner includes salad, roll, beverage, entrée, vegetable and dessert; the entrée options are:

  • Potato Crusted Cod Filet (baked with lemon zested hollandaise)
  • Cheddar Chive Crusted Chicken (coated in light panko crumbs, shaved cheddar, fresh chives, served over sauce vin blanc)
  • Black Forest Wellington (roasted butternut squash, wild mushroom ragout, celery, onion and fontina cheese wrapped in puff pastry and baked. Served with wild rice and pine nut pilaf, vegetable and an herbed sauce)

Tickets cost $35 and can be obtained through the EventBrite.
