Michael Schechtman, Executive Director

In January of 2001, Mike became BSI's full-time executive director, following two years as chair of BSI's founding Board of Directors. Prior to this position, Mike was president and owner of Eaglecliff Associates, a Helena-based consulting firm specializing in training, organizational development and fundraising for nonprofits. Mike has over 40 years of professional experience in nonprofit program development, administration and fundraising, including 30 years as a consultant to nonprofits in the Northern Rockies. He is a member of the Community Foundations of Montana Council. Mike has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Chicago and an M.S. in natural resources from the University of Michigan.

 

Michele Infanger, Bookkeeper

Michele Infanger joined Big Sky Institute in 2003 as its bookkeeper. She has a 20 year bookkeeping background starting in the banking and credit union industry. She currently owns Wolf Creek Office Support, which does bookkeeping for local businesses and a Volunteer Fire Department.

 

Christy Stiles, Associate Projects Coordinator

Christy came to BSI in the Fall of 2016 with an extensive background in the nonprofit sector, including the Montana Arts Council, the Myrna Loy Center, and the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Foundation. Originally an educator, she also has experience in project management, grant writing, event planning and web development.
