BSI seeks support from donors who appreciate the importance of our nationally-recognized, ground breaking solutions for building nonprofit philanthropy and support systems for Montana and other Philanthropic Divide states.
Individual donors provide BSI with essential "start up" funds to develop and launch new initiatives. These resources — often the most difficult money to raise — enable us to conduct the research, design and constituency development that is necessary to getting a project up and running. Once the momentum, defined leadership and some modest accomplishments are achieved, BSI can go to other funding sources to help take the project to the next level.
